Dining Room Complete

Sunday, February 26, 2012

I realized after showing you my table makeover that I haven't shown you my completed dining room...

I have given you the low down on every project in this room, but now you can get the completed look :)

First we have the tea light wall art that I paired with a photo that was taken from our wedding {lemon drop martinis YUM}

On the same wall I have my gate turned herb garden and I am so excited to show you this most recent picture because my herbs are growing!!

Here is the completed look...

A far cry from this!  The black table, green curtains and white walls are GONE!!  Whoo Hoo!!

This post will be featured at Mom's Fun Money this week.

I will be linking up to here...

SO many creative ideas! I love the planter thing you did, such a smart idea. We are currently smack in the middle of renovating a house we just bought so I can imagine the thrill of actually having something done and completed. Good for you! :)

I really like the garden gate with the buckets and herbs. Very very cool. I would think this would work outside too-- I might have to give it a try as my current herb garden gets neglected since it is so far from the kitchen! I need to find a gate though-- hmmmm

Love the new look.

I have a question about the herbs. Being that they are newer, you may not have had this problem yet, though. How do you control the moisture of the soil? I'm assuming there is no drainage. Has this been an issue?
