I originally planted a great little herb garden in it and unfortunately with my super green thumb all my herbs withered away and I was only left with some dirt :-(
I am sure most of you have seen these and similar mason jars with Epsom salt and candles around pinterest and blogs. I thought they would be perfect for my little box this Christmas season.
I also made a couple others just because they are so simple and cheap!
I will also be linking up to these fabulous parties...

Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! All those candles together are just gorgeous.

Those little dribs and drabs of candles can be used as fire starters or, how I use them, lit and tilted to drip wax into the holder to stabilize a new candle.
This is so pretty! I love them in the old crate. Have you linked up with Creative Me Monday? It's open all week long and I'd love to have you! You can link up as many projects as you'd like! The link is:

Hope to see you there!
This looks so pretty. Funny, I actually have a RC Cola Crate with canning jars in it sitting in my booth right now...maybe I should add candles, though, as you said, unlit candles are so very sad looking. Thanks for sharing this great idea!
What a great project! I love candles and have never heard of using the epsom salts! Great tip! ♥
I am in love with the lighted candles in the crate - had to pin it!
Looks great, Brooke. It's actually one of my favorite ways to display a candle lately. I've made them with popcorn kernels as well as beans too. They're fun.
Love your page. Don't want to miss a thing so I added you to my blogroll.
Much love!
Nice job, Brooke :) Very festive!

What a great project! I love candles. Can't get too many of them. And I know I have a box like that around here somewhere, except mine's a Coca Cola box. Hm. Sure hope I didn't pitch it. Story of my life: find a great idea to use something I threw out the week before. I'm going to track down that box. Great idea. LOVE IT!! :-)
visiting from Tatertots & Jello linky party- what a beautiful project!! hehe, and I'm totally with ya- I managed to kill all my herbs too :/
Love this idea! Looks very festive!

I got here from the Sundae Scoop party, I agree, candles are most beautiful when they have been used :)
