We Have a New Backyard - Phase 2!!

Sunday, June 10, 2012

Our backyard is almost complete!  I am so excited to share how far we've come in the last week!

In case you missed it, you can catch up on the before here.

Pretty amazing transformation if I do say so myself!

Okay...not quite...remember we are on a budget guys!  This is our friend's beautiful pool where my husband installed some amazing lights :)

Here is our real backyard...

We still have a little ways too go, but it is a far cry from where we were a week ago...

I'll be sharing some more details soon and the final pictures when we finally finish!

I can't even believe that is the same yard!! You've obviously put tons of sweat equity into it! I hope you took some time to sit in your new yard with a cold drink and a little chips and dip! What's next on the agenda??

Weew, your new backyard looks cool! Last week's version was just awful, but the transformations have made it look awesome good! How about adding a mini barn for storage? Keep us updated on the other changes you’re going to do there! :)

Oh this is so great. I bet it's nice sitting out there enjoying your nice yard. I have been wanting to get mine done for almost two years now and still not much has been done. Someday though. For now, I'll just pretend mine looks like yours. :)

Very cute yard! The red mulch against the green grass is colorful and eye-catching! I didn't see it at first, but then I noticed what was in the 1/2 barrel flower pot - an umbrella! What a great idea!!

Your backyard looks awesome! The way the colors were layered is just amazing. :) Do you plan to put a pool just like your friend’s? The natural setting is definitely appealing, though this would take a lot of space. I think a deck hot tub wouldn’t be bad. What do you think? :)

Your friend's pool looks stunning! It looks like it's located somewhere in the forest. It looks so solemn and calm! How about you? Aren't you planning to add a pool anytime soon? Or a simple jacuzzi perhaps? Your new backyard is very beautiful! It would be lovely to hang here during summer, sit and just do nothing. The grass shines when the sunlight hits it and makes it more beautiful as it is.
