It is finally done!  Here is the dresser transformation...

I ended up painting it an off white with a little distressing.  I didn't want to spend a ton of money on hardware at the moment, so I did ribbon for drawer handles.  I also had these two little holes on two of the drawers that I could have filled and painted, but I decided to pick up a couple buttons for $1.25 and hot glue them on :-)

I love this! And ribbon for the handles! Genius! We have an old dresser that we eventually want to spruce up, but I'm not sure if I have the guts. I think you've just inspired me!
