Cracked Wood Sign

Remember way back when...when I put up my curtain rod branches in our master bedroom? It was so long ago that I am almost embarrassed to provide the link because my photos are so bad! 

My goal at that time was to put something cool in the middle of the wall above my bed.  My original idea was this dandelion wall art, but it just didn't work for this room.

Then the other day I remembered an awesome pin I had about how to make the crackle paint effect using Elmer's Glue.  I had this old board sitting outside and just went to town.

Here is the finished result! 






 I chose a rust color to tie in this chair that sits in the corner of the room.
